Yes, had an event later tonight so there wasn't enough time to make an appointment with my usual eyebrow specialist so had to make a quick run to the mall to get my eyebrows threaded, appointment goes well until I look in the mirror and see the HORROR...she took off too much eye brow hair and my brows are so damn thin it looks like a line that was drawn on!!!!! WTF!!! Now I have to wait over a month for them to grow the fuck back!! And what's worse, I'm going to have to fill in my damn brows to what they should look like with a brow pencil every fucking day!!! URRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Thanks. I was so mad I wanted to cry. There wasn't anything I could do...I had to pay because she had already performed the service...I wanted to strangle her but no good would've come from that. I was fucked unpreasurably.

If I were you I would complain to the manager and ask for a refund. You walked out of there unhappy with a botched up job.

My wife has done that. I know it's not funny. But that eyebrow line in pencil. Tends to lend a Sorry.

well then thank god for eyebrow pencils! i wanna dye my hair in like 2 weeks. shit when i was little my hair was dark brown..now it grows in medium blonde. my friggin eyebrows are nearly black though?! i'll get em dyed to match closer! but still they grow so fast

I have to admit, I've never understood having your eyebrows done. I would never trust mine to somebody who doesn't have to walk around with the outcome.

Well of course I get them done because I don't know how to wax or thread my own eye brows Just as I get my hair done because I don't have the patience or the expertise to style my own hair the way that I want it done. It's that simple. If you prefer to do yourself, then to each his own, but any woman who gets professionaly done services know that there are times when you will have mishaps, especially when going to a different person of expertise than you are use to, so basically you are taking a gamble. That's what I did and got burned by it, I just hate dealing with it, but then again you live and you learn.

Umm I'm not going to be using a pair of tweezers to arch my eye brows...to clean them up in between visits, yes I do tweeze but for eye brow arching itself it's either going to be waxed or threaded. I have thick brows and I'm not going to be in the mirror for hours trying to get it the way I want it. And like I've said before, this is why I go to get them professionally done. And that is all.

GURL ..... I hate when that used to happen to me, after it happened twice, I was done!

Use a lighter color brow pencil... I keep a darker brown brow liner for such occassions when my brows were done too thin. Black brows look too weird IMO.

Yeah I know what you mean about the black. I have a dark brown one but when I use it, it looks weird to me if I overdo it because it comes out looking like black than anything. I'm going to go by either MAC or Sephora after work today and check some things out as well as a lighter color brow pencil as you have suggested. Thanks for the tip though, appreciate it!!!!

Shadow then may work better... because a med. brown may be too reddish in natural/sun light. Unless, you have med brown hair, then it'll look great!

I have jet black hair, so the dk. brown works for me.
