It looks like a knock off of War of the Worlds with a hint of Independence Day wrapped in B-movie packaging.

I only logged on to see if anyone had seen it!! LOL
and was really looking forward to this movie thoroughly enjoyed it up to the "I feel powerful" bit.
From that point on I laughed when I wasnt supposed to &
