yeah it would be difficult to confidently say any of those are in my top 5, but I liked them smile

The only ones I can really be sure of are TV shows, Mad Men, Battlestar, Extras

If there had been 2 more scifi movies I liked, I could have made my top 5 all scifi

Moon was really good, I have something against Avatar confused but I get why people liked it

I saw it twice, and loved it very much for the total immersion - it's one of the few movies where I don't think about anything else during the time it's on - both times I saw it was in the cinema though, DVDs seldom have similar impact.

yeah, I saw it in IMAX 3-D...in the front row on the right side confused But that had nothing to do with me not liking it!!

You should watch his short film that the feature-length one was based on. It's on YouTube somewhere and features better writing and non-actors with a more natural delivery than the actors in District 9, plus it even has some - especially by short film standards - impressive special effects that don't look as much like a computer game / Transformers rip-off as the ones in District 9.
