I cried all the time through that movie, and not only because it was sad, but because it was so moving. The ceremony is so respectful and beautiful for the families pray

really? Devil's Backbone and El Orfanato weren't action either - more horror/suspense/supernatural

Children of Men was a very hard movie to watch but it was very good though.

Yeah it was pretty bleak at times so I can see what you mean. I just think it felt unusually realistic for being a movie set in the future and it was packed with memorable moments and was mostly hard to predict (which is always a good thing). Good performances too.
