I never thought I'd say this but, I just don't understand kids today.
Horrible! MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

Know the potential of a situation .... some kids are too trusting and will walk into an angry mob.
As a teen in a bad neighborhood I was caught in the middle a few shoot outs for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was sheer luck that I never caught a bullet! Just walking home from school or standing at the busstop. I learned valuable lessons that way.
I teach my kids to stay outta crowds for this very reason, you can not trust an angry crowd of potential bullies or put yourself in a potential line of fire.
One shoot out killed 8 people in three minutes. I saw the car driving slowly towards the bus stop... I had a bad feeling and left very quickly pushing my son in his stroller... two minutes later the girls that were standing next to me were dead, 3 young mothers and their babies in front of Crispus Attucks Day care center mid-day.
Another time at a bus stop in a station, after school... too many teens at the bus stop so I left that stop and walked ahead to the next stop... a few minutes later, 3 people were shot and killed at the same spot I just left.
Gotta have good safety instincts in the hood... you just have to.
