Are You A Phone Person?

I absolutely hate talking on the phone! I'm also the back up receptionist at my job..The actual receptionist is out on maternity leave, so I'm stuck at the front desk for one more month. I've never been a phone person, if I could text my Grandma I would lol I only have one friend that rather call than text, so she gets ignored from time to time.. And when I give a guy my number I let him know up front "i don't talk on the phone"

Which orgers like talking on the phone?

At work it's often part of my job and I have no problem using it in that context.

At home, no, I hate it.

If I didn't have to hear it ring every 25 seconds it would be okay because I don't have to hold a conversation, but I feel like I'm gonna have nightmares about that damned ringing mad

I am not a big phone talker.

If I'm not seeing you in person I prefer emails. boxed

I call when I have something to say.

Most times I cringe when the phone rings. boxed

In the beginning of the school year, I give the parents my (school) email and tell them it's 10x easier to contact me that way. (Plus it creates a paper trail- C.Y.A. lurking)

I'm not a phone talker. Face-to-face, texts or emails are my preferred contacts. shrug

We did. nod

I don't mean I never enjoy having a conversation on the phone. Yesterday I spoke to my aunt twice in one day and for about an hour each time. But weeks (sometimes a few months) go by in between.

At least when time goes by I feel there's something (or many things) to talk about. I don't understand people that call each other daily...let alone several times a day. It throws me into a panic. lol

If it's gonna take more than 3 texts to resolve whatever the talk is about, I prefer a phone call. Otherwise no. And if you have nothing to say: no.

I do most of my socializing in person at work or on here to be honest. Once I get home, there's not much talking going on

Whenever I'm at home and hear my phone ring (unless it's Sweetie's ringtone), my first reaction is, "Go away! mad "

lol

My best friend Jarrett and I talk once a month... We do a "highlight reel", share opinions, and dish. biggrin

This is a good point. I hate texting endlessly.

I have friends who know they have to call, hang up and call again if they expect me to answer. I usually don't even look at the phone on the first set of rings. lol

I don't even have texting on my phone. And as is well known, no FaceBook. Write me an email or give me a call. If you leave a message I WILL return your call. If your email requires and answer I WILL give you one. That's all I need to communicate with my friends and family.

Sure in that sort of scenario...not so much fun when there's a drunken homo trying to tell the big tittied girl on the phone how to find your ass.

I used to, but now thank god for texting. Fuck phone calls. I'd rather text. Phone calls need to go out all together. They need to just stop.

I don't like it when the phone rings shake AT ALL!!!!!

I'm the one that wraps up the convo as soon as I can, and I hate people that call "just to chat" pissed since I'm listening and listening and trying to figure out what the point of the call is.

I'm okay with a big-tittied girl finding me. Unless finding my ass was literal like probing around with a finger or something.
