My mom once named a parakeet "Twit"!
My ex-wife had a cat named "Chalkboard" I used to have a chinese water dragon that I named "Vermithrax" (after the mama dragon in "Dragonslayer")

Well, I do have a cat named "mittens"...true.
Wife named her. My Chihuahua is named "Chula", means "pretty girl" in spanish. I named her. My Black Lab is named "Emilio", came with that name... We had an Oranda Goldfish, and if you ever seen one, their heads are strangely shaped, so i named him..."Dickhead" Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I named my snake Prince Q Picard!
He is a very intelligent snake. He reads, and knows 5 different languages. He can dance, too. 
Other than that, I've just had a dog named Hercules, and a cat I'm too ashamed of to name. Now I just call him "Rapist."  -------
