See, I think there's a difference between "going out" and "leaving the house". Leaving the house is a necessity. Going out, not so much. Also, you're generally much more in control when just leaving the house. You can plan exactly where you are going, for how long (no need to use a public restroom), for what reason... and you can bring the appropriate level of warm, cool or all weather clothing. lol

Going out is the only incentive I have for maintaining my appearance. If I never went out, I'd really let myself go and end up looking like Alan Moore or something.

And worshiping ancient snake gods n' stuff. Which, granted, might be interesting. But not if you had to look like Alan. lol

For serious, though. I'm already 60 and with this "fainting goat syndrome" my family suffers with...

Y'all think I'm bullshitin, but it's for real. We have what is called "myotonia congenita" which is a form of that disease that makes goats fall over stiff after being startled. Well, my mother, my brother and I have a form of that shit. No, we don't fall out when we're startled, but our muscles stiffen up in our legs and the balance can get kinda tricky. If we're not careful, we'll just toddle the fuck over!

beatdeadhorse

faint Stop playing, Shyra! For true???

For serious, chile! That shit wreaks havoc on our old asses. My mom is using a walker now. Mike, my brother, has fallen 3-4 times already. I have fallen once at home, but I think it was a sudden drop in blood pressure because my ass blacked out. With MC, you just fall the fuck over. I've almost fallen several times, but I am always able to "right" myself before I keel over.

For sure on both counts. I love the guys imagination, but people who can think that way are often a bit woo, woo.

I had a great night last night, especially with my kids. They made me very, very proud.

Today though, I almost killed them.

I'm good, thanks! Saw Norm live just over a month ago! Last I read, he's working on a sort-of sports version of The Daily Show for Comedy Central.

nod Me, too. But replace the martini with weed and I'm good! lol OR I could have a martini in one hand and a weed in the other, and I can be twice as happy!

I'm like a friggin' bear; in winter, I weep everytime I have to leave my house; in summer it's very hard to find me at home...
