If McNabb didn't sign that contract...would he have been benched by now? My cousin in DC just texted me that...at his house they're chanting "We Want Rex!"...lmao!!

I noticed they brought McNabb back in at quarterback. Why don't they just throw in the towel and bring in Rex Grossman to....um, never mind. If they do that, the Eagles will put up 83 points like Wisconsin did to Indiana.

3 INTs, one taken back for 6. I don't recall if the other two resulted in TDs (odds are they did), but you gotta put SOME of the blame on him for giving the Eagles offense extra chances.

The first INT hit the receiver directly in the hands. The second came when Patterson beat 100-year-old Joey Galloway to the spot. Remember, McNabb spent much of his Eagles career as the least-frequently intercepted QB in the history of the NFL. I believe he's still 2nd all time. I love the throwbacks but if the steelers were wearing their regular uniforms or the old block uniforms an ass kicking is an ass kicking. Your unis look much better when you win. The steelers got an ass kicking last night but this shit the redskins going through is the death penalty. Don't laugh at my funk

Them daggone throwbacks is bad juju I tell ya...I'm gonna blame them throwbacks for the whole ugly episode,
As for the skins, they should have cancelled the press conference...what the hell can they say? Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I don't care if they did beat the pats with those ugly uniforms, stop wearing them already.

Wonder if Shanahan's thrilled with Danny-Boy giving McNabb $40 mil in guaranteed loot. As long as he's the owner, Redskins will never be what they were in the 80s.

When did Vick morph into this BEAST?

Prison, and working/studying harder to make himself a real QB.
I guess Andy Reid knew what he was doing letting McNabb go. But I wonder if Philly will re-sign Vick.

His performance last night was as good as it gets.

I'm still trying to figure out WTF Donovan was thinking signing that extension. The coach embarrassed him, said he wasn't smart enough to run a two-minute offense. And he has no weapons on offense. This will not end well.

I don't think so either but the skins biggest problem has been the defense adjusting to Haslett's 3-4 scheme. It took the Packers one full year to learn Dom Capers 3-4 scheme and it's paying dividends for them this season. Doesn't help that McNabb has pedestrian receivers. Don't laugh at my funk

A lot of redskins fans want Haslett fired after last night and want them to sign Wade as the DC Personally, I was hoping for McNabb to go to Arizona. I think he has enough left where if he's in a good situation he can make a good run, but there's no way in hell he's winning the NFC East with that talentless redskins team; the other 3 teams are so far out of their league it's laughable.

Wade? Really???
You know McNabb's agent better had got signatures on that contract BEFORE last night's game.

One of the contract's most significant points is a payment due this offseason, when the Redskins must decide whether or not to pay McNabb a $10 million option bonus. If they do, it would trigger the rest of the contract and make Washington liable for McNabb's $2.5 million base salary in 2011. So in essence, the Redskins paid McNabb $3.75 million in 2010 for the right to pay him $12.5 million in 2011 and control his rights. If the Redskins cut him after this season or trade him, they are only on the hook for the $3.75 million. Here is how the rest of the full deal breaks down, according to an NFLPA source: • 2010: $3.5 million signing bonus/$250,000 if active eight games • 2011: $10 million option bonus/$2.5 million salary/$750,000 if active 16 games/$250,000 workout/$2 million possible playoff incentives • 2012: $12.75 million salary/$750,000 if active 16 games/$250,000 workout/$2 million possible playoff incentives • 2013: $13 million salary/$1.5 million if active 16 games/$250,000 workout/$2 million possible playoff incentives • 2014: $13.75 million salary/$3 million if active 16 games/$250,000 workout/$2 million possible playoff incentives • 2015: $13.55 million salary/$2.25 million if active 16 games/$250,000 workout/$2 million possible playoff incentives

Shiiiitttt, $25 mil if he has an injury and never plays again??? Somebody call Tanya Harding cuz I would pay her to run on the field and knee cap me for that kinda scrilla.
