Pats already own the Steelers and catching them coming off a loss

was a bad omen. What bothered me most is the lack of effort on defense

and the bad move by Tomlin to go for the onsides kick down 11 with 6:44

left. You basically told your defense i have no confidence in you.

Kudos to the offense for not quitting.

At what point tonight did they earn his confidence? The first time they got burned by the Pats' blocking tight end? The second? The third? The Steelers D will be back, but it just wasn't their night.

Big ups to Mike Wallace for keeping me afloat in fantasy football! Now I just need DeSean Jackson to outperform Chris Cooley for a win!

My thing is Alex, your defense can be bad all game long but all it takes is one turnover at

the point to give your offense the ball back. Wallace is working wonders for me too in

fantasy football.

I have SDeSean going in a league where I'm leading by 40 and he has McCoy.

I have Vick in another league where I trail by 7

I have Roethlisberger and Wallace on the same team. Over 55 points combined.

Nice.

The league I have Roethlisberger in has a weird point system. Also we hav eto play two QBs which is actually for the better being an 8 man league. Rivers had a bye so I had to hit the Free Agent pool for a fill in. I picked Troy Smith. I feel like a genius.

On the downside, I had Hines Ward who got injured. I pick him every team every year if possible. It became tradition and I stuck with it.

This post in Yahoo Sports amused me.

Just another Sunday in the life of Tom Brady.

8 AM to 8 PM - stares at himself in the mirror, combing those luscious brown locks

8:30 PM to 11 PM - destroys the Steelers, throwing for 350 yards and 4 TDs. One of which he ran in himself for only the 7th time EVER

1 AM - makes love to Gisele all night long

Non existent pass protection and butter-fingers receivers on the Steeler side did not help either.

Don't get me started on the geriatric performance of our defense. disbelief

Unbelievable. Coaches did a poor job of making adjustments.

Everybody and their mama knew the Pats were throwing the football

once they got off the bus. No blitzes or nickel and dime packages on

early downs to force the Patriots to run which they didn't want to do.

It's like Brady had a belt in his hand and the Steelers took the ass whupping.

He's a really good kid. I've known Tre since he was 5 years old. Glad he's realizing there's more to life than football. thumbs up!

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas coach Mack Brown says sophomore running back Tre' Newton is giving up football after a series of injuries.

Newton sustained a concussion in a 39-14 loss to Kansas State on Nov. 6 and did not play in last Saturday's 33-16 loss to No. 12 Oklahoma State.

Newton rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Newton, who attended Southlake Carroll High School, is the son of former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Nate Newton.

Giants WR Ramses Barden is done for the year. We only have three healthy wideouts - got dammit.

Sucks about Chad Pennington too.

Will the Redskins sign a closer to put in for McNabb during the 2-minute offense? smile
