Anyone watch it?

I've not really watched much of Conan, but my hubby and I decided to see how his first night went. Plus, George Lopez had Janet Jackson on his show right after so...

Anyway, the show was good. The vibe was a little off, but several LOL moment.

Must say, I forget which .orger loves Jack White, but after last night's show, I TOTALLY see the appeal.

Saw it.

Here's my thing with Conan: I find the written "bits" on his shows can be very good (e.g. last night's opening), but I find the man himself not funny (even annoying).

I watched it, and although I didn't think it was spectacular, it was pretty darn good. Classic Conan. And having jack white on the show was super cool

Loved when he tried to get an advertising job on Mad Men.

The other really funny moment was the line, "it smells like tears".

Having said that, I only watched the show for Jack White and most likely will not view future airings. I'm not a late night talk show person.

Girl's got good taste Jack White was lovely.

The opening was pretty damn funny. He has a crack team of writers and isn't under the any pressure to appease the Leno stragglers anymore, so expect this stint to be as good as his late night show. It comes on at the same time as local news though, dammit.

I'm sticking with Letterman (Snoop's on 2night) and Jimmy Fallon is getting funnier and funnier.

He's very, very funny....but it's just on too late.

How late is it on there? It's on at 11 PM here, which is too early for me. I'm still usually watching recorded shows at that time.

Personal opinion, Craig Ferguson is the funniest mf on late night television by, like, A LOT! I watch his show more than any other these days. I grew up with Dave, though, so I'll make an effort to watch or record it if the guests are interesting. Conan, I totally agree with Ace. He's a great writer and has great writers working with him. But I don't enjoy his interviews and on the fly stuff as much. However, he is, was and will always be funnier than Jay Leno.

OMG Qunicy Jones is on Letterman right now. Looks horrible...bloated....eyes bagged....yikes

I live on the west coast and Dishnetwork shows it at 8pm and 10pm.

He hit his stride tonight. Each show get's better.

I saw that episode and busted a gut. I do watch Chelsea once in a while, though. When is she going to stop stepping on her guest panel's punch lines?

Right about the time she get's funny on her own.

It's just...comparing her to Conan? TBS might as well be all 3 networks combined compared to E.

I would bet Conan's hour brings in more viewers than a typical day of E programming.

I stopped watching her because she got old.
