Eyebrow Threading

http://www.wisegeek.com/w...eading.htm

Umm...Yeah so my 17 yr old son asks me to go to the mall with him last weekend cuz he says he wanted to go to this shop again, but did not want to go alone eek So while shopping, we find the place and it's a shop where one can get their eyebrows threaded eek I'm sitting there while he is having it done like WTF! lol It looked painful to me eek but when the lady was done the end result was fabulous lol It cost $10 which I guess wasn't to bad for ten minutes of work lol Anyway, I thought it was interesting falloff Any orgers ever have it done before? Who was brave enough to go under the thread? lol

did ya see the eyebrow thread? mostly their talking about just bad tattooed ones. but no one brought this up yet. i've seen the kioska at the local malls. personally idk. i keep my tweezers always on the sink so if i see a stray hair its bye bye. idk if i'd trust another person to do my brows. end up looking like a drag queen and be posted in the bad eyebrow thread

yoda i don't wear a cross?!!? i wear a prince symbol prince guitar wacky nutty I When Prince's cum dries, diamonds are formed. lol eek drooling no one tops prince in concert!

Eyebrow Threading

Is that the new fashion of making threads about eyebrows? I didn't know it had a name. Maybe it would need a new Forum hmmm

My eyebrows are thin, in that they trail off. I'm careful with the tweezers, because I could end up looking like John's "napkin brows". redface

Anyway... I have a REAL aversion to kiosk workers at the mall. (started a thread once)

I was walking toward Sears, when this woman stopped me, telling me I NEEDED to have my eyebrows threaded. confused

Even after I politely declined, she followed me.

I snapped... "NEED?! So you're telling me there's something wrong with the way I look?! Nice! That's the way to get business! Tell people they look like they need their eyebrows done!"

She wouldn't back down! pissed She and I argued about it for a few minutes, before I stomped away furious.

Pushy heifer... hrmph

wave I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before and it wasn't that bad. I actually liked how she shaped my eyebrows in way so that I didn't even need to use my brow pencil when I put on makeup. It lasted a little over a month before I needed my eyebrows done again. I actually got them done at a kiosk and it was only $10 but I think next time I'll try an actual salon that does it, as oppose to a kiosk. It felt weird layed all back in that chair in the middle of the mall while people were passing by staring. neutral

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

please encourage your son to be a member of the male population and NOT continue to get his eyebrows threaded. Tweeze some hairs to stop the unibrow, tweeze a little to keep it clean...that's all cool.

But getting your eyebrows threaded or waxed or shaped is just not something men need to do. disbelief

This guy in the mall kinda did that to me-he walked over and said "Come here" all stern like I was a child and needed to comply eek I looked at him and said "I don't think so and kept walking." These folks really have nerve sometimes-but I think she woulda accidently fell down if it was me lol

I didn't mean to take aim at your son, nursev. I'm just a big fan of men going back to acting like men and not shaving their chests, shaping their eyebrows or wearing concealer.

I like it. Works fine for me and looks very clean without the pain of waxing or the inevitable new growth of getting razored at the Korean nail salon.

I've had it done twice (awhile back) and liked the result both times. If they came at me now with some thread I'd have to hurt 'em. mad lol
