I don't love the costume (and what's up with that scuffed-up shield?), but I have a lot of faith that this movie is going to be great.

Sigh...if only he had a little hair on that chest instead of ruining it by shaving it bare.

I think the costume looks great

the straps fit well with military type theme

they look practical and useful

I like the look of the material as well

great job as far as I'm concerned

I hope the movie is well done

How is it you feel?

I agree, the studio did a good job making the costume look realistic and not spandex like in the books.

I wanted to post that one bigger so people can see his hair really is blond before they start complaining.

Does that photo have some sort of other appeal? hmmm

I rather like the costume. They took something that was strictly style and made it functional, boosting its credibility across formats. I'm just kind of sick of Chris Evans... and while this appears to be a period action flick, there's something sickening about his stodgy 1940s haircut. confused

If the movie does REALLY well, that's a great subject for a sequel.

It could be a prequel and a sequel at the same time, since he predates Steven.

I loved that Marvel went there, citing Tuskegee as logical precedent.

eek

Stan Lee and them don't fuck around when it comes to racial themes.

Marvel's always been ahead of the game with social themes, going back to the 60s.

Yes, it was a great story and all...

And I'ma let chu finish...

But why they have to give the project to Kyle Baker?!?!

He's like the least serious artist in comics right now. Who can get riled up when you lookin at line drawings I made in 8th grade during Life Skills?

Cool thing is how X-Men represented civil rights back then, but when X2 came out, they were able to relate it to gay rights too, with Bobby struggling with coming out as a mutant to his folks.
