I just wrote that paper and submitted it 30 minutes late.

I suck at college. I don't know why I even try, I don't have the ambition or dedication for it. If I wasn't being paid to go, I wouldn't be going.

I've just brought another new pair of boots. I must stop buying shoes.

This morning I made a carrot cake with my son while we listened to some CD's that belonged to my Grandad. It was a lovely morning.

After dropping said son at Nursery this afternoon, I went to the Library and borrowed some books. Now i'm trying to decide which one to read first.

I voted! But I was a little bummed that there was absolutely no line. There were about two dozen poll workers and a police officer there...and four voters. I hope they get much busier later.

Voted about an hour ago. Seemed fairly active (not packed) considering the time of day and neighborhood. About a line of 10 to vote touch screen when I was there and there were folk also doing paper ballots. But a steady flow.

And yes, it's a school and there was a bake sale. lol

Thank you. It's going to be major - five to seven days in the hospital, and another four to six weeks of convalescence.

And the timing couldn't be worse - with the holidays and me being in a play that opens January 13.

The kind wishes are appreciated. hug

Thanks, love.

I don't know how this always happens. That last time he had surgery, was 13 years ago...in December...and I had tickets to Prince (Jam of the Year) the night after his surgery.

Bless his heart - he made me go to the concert. touched
