I should not be allowed out of the house

So today I had to dress up a little because I'm meeting a client for drinks after work. After I showered, I threw on a nice black dress shirt and ran out the door. As I was stepping on the train, I noticed that I had managed to get deodorant marks quite prominently on the front of the shirt. I looked ridiculous.

When I got to work, I managed to do some bathroom rinsing of the shirt. It looks...okay.

I am, and always will be, a slob, apparently.

Anyway, how's your Friday, org?

You are in NYC, yes? Kind of cold today to be going out with nothing over a dress shirt.

At first I read quickly and thought you threw on a nice black dress.

This would've been a lot more noticeable to your client than deodorant stains.

It has to be really cold for me to wear a coat or even a jacket. Today is actually a little too warm for my tastes (seriously).

I should have gone with the little black dress. Dress impeccably, they notice the man. Dress shabbily, they notice the deodorant marks.

I'm the opposite, I'm always cold. Especially in the new subway cars where the air conditioning is on all year round.

Last night I went over to Anxy and Darin’s for dinner and tv night (we watch several episodes of Glee at once, all saved up on the dvr). About 15 minutes after we got done eating I noticed curry sauce dripped on my shirt. Anxy made SUPER yummy banana splits with a warm cinnamon pineapple sauce for dessert and I managed to slop an ice cream-soaked banana piece on my shirt as well. They have 3 cats and I think I spent time with at least 2 of them on my lap at some point or another. When I got up to leave I realized I was positively COVERED in curry, ice cream and cat hair.

Thank goodness these were good friends. lol

I have a similar reaction when I use the clear deodorants. Can't do it.

You guys must be eskimos. lol It was perfect all week before yesterday when I was freezing.

If you were too warm in 70˚F, how do you cope all summer when it's 80+˚F every day? hmmm

In the summer, I am miserable. I hate summer.

Today is lovely, though. I just ran to the store in my short-sleeve T-shirt and was happier than I've been in ages. biggrin
