I understand, that's why I watched it twice. The first time I watched it, the visuals were amazing, and the plot technically made sense, in that; I understood what it was they were supposed to be doing, but there were so many different levels to keep up with, I wasn't sure if they met their objective, while staying true to the rules.

But when I played it and watched again (...and I NEVER watch a two and a half hour movie back to back, lol.) it was easier to follow, and in fact; all the parts fit together ingeniously. The plot and script were so tightly written, it just blew me away. It made complete sense to me on the second viewing, even the rules, and even the math in regards to the variation in timing between the levels. Very deep movie.

Sometimes I have to see a movie a few times before I 'get it', lol. "The Usual Suspects" was another one like that. I had to see that movie 3 or 4 times before it made sense to me, lol. I can be slow sometimes, lol.

that didn't impress me much either

Yeah, that movie was hard to follow. They made you work really hard to put the pieces together. But once you "got it", there was some small satisfaction in knowing that all the pieces fit.

I was feeling nostalgic for the eighties, so I watched Breakin'. The movie has a great soundtrack (imo) and the acting is fair. I also used to think Ozone was hot. lol Okay, let the beatings begin. lol

WHAT beatings? The 80's had some really good times (...and some really scary one's too, unfortunately). "Breakin'" really defined that time. Who would have ever thought that we'd have to grow up so fast? neutral Whenever I see movies like "Breakin'" now, I can't believe we've grown so far from that time. I remember when I felt like DANCING was as important as eating & drinking, lol.

It felt like we were all a part of a revolution, and that we were going to change the world. I don't know that we ever accomplished that goal, lol. We were probably just feeling what every generation feels at that age.

I hope the kids today are feeling even half the enthusiasm we felt then.

A bit over the top at times but if you suspend disbelief and go along for the ride it's actually pretty good, considering the majority of horror/survival type movies out there.

EXCELLENT. I hope this gets a nomination in the doc category.

I took Miles to see this at the theatre when he was 4. He asked, so I took him. He found it a little creepy but not too scary.

This was kind of cool. I liked it. Definitely a little dark for kids but I think when we say stuff like this we're not necessarily thinking kids TODAY. What's scary to kids today??

Miles is definitely afraid of more realistic images.

He is absolutely terrified by this commercial.

He asked me to explain it and now I have to turn it off every time it comes on.

Tiny Furniture (2010) - After breaking up with her boyfriend and graduating from college, film student moves back home to live with her mother and sister, but finds her life to be directionless. Supposedly autobiographical and the director (who also plays the lead) cast her real life mother and sister in the film. star star star 1/2

liked the premise of the story maybe the book is better, but it looks like too much work was put into the details the audience will never see then actually relaying the story.

5/5 falloff I have never heard my boys laugh so hard and so much!

They say it's the best movie they ever saw, and when it comes to good family entertainment, just hilarious!

2/5 it's weird now looking back how old movies like this just draaaaaag on, our attention spans sure have got shorter!

It was funny when the bad guys were small in the back seat of the car

(2010)

fantastic directorial debut from Joann Sfar, based on the life of the French artist.

very artistic, visually stellar and with such incredible cast. Eric was Serge it wasn't funny.

Laetitia Casta looked divine as Brigitte Bardot, I'd recommend the film for her scenes alone!

and here's Lucy Gordon as Jane Birkin!

I thought everything was so on point with that project. totally enjoyed every minute of it.

My friend and I went to see "Burlesque" and I give it 1 Star! And that's because of Cher! Christina has a wonderful voice, but not much screen presence!
