I'm quite thin and when I was younger I was even thinner.
I got beanpole, stickboy, you name it. I remember one girl said, "It should be considered a crime to have your legs exposed. You should be forced to wear pants at all times. Your ankles are the grossest things I've ever seen." Funny. Ha Ha. My boss once started digging into me at dinner with several other staff and clients sitting around, "The first time I saw Nathan's legs, I could not stop laughing." Hilarious. This is quite damaging to a guy. If you're a girl, it's rare to get accused if you're too skinny. But as a male, it isn't fun. But at this stage of my life and even later, it will come in handy. While other guys are worrying about their beer bellies and dieting, I'm filling out and keeping my youthful figure. So, I ain't mad. [This message was edited Thu Jan 30 14:28:25 PST 2003 by TRON]

I mean she went off! Perhaps you should've came to the young lady first, rather than talked to one of her friends. That doesn't present caringness, it presents nothing more than nosiness. If you want to know something, you should come to the source. You may have thought you were being thoughtful, but it was quite the opposite. You were really quite rude, and I doubt anyone cursing you would be something you didn't deserve in the first place. Enough of that, don't you think? Edit: Not to mention, I think that entire statement is really quite irrelevant to this thread. I didn't call you anything except "nosy," while I remember cursing you quite a bit. But it's not voluntary discussion. She came on this thread to make a comment, assuming I'd see it, rightly so, and make a comment. I have addressed the situation, thought it was settled enough a long time ago, mind you, and yet she brings it up weeks later. And then, after reading my comments, only further tried to bait me. Nice, very nice. I love it when she shows she's the kind person people think she is. -------

Oooh that's kinda interesting how you assumed it was a guy, in fact it was a girl... But in any case, it was rather upsetting, esp. because it was done in an academic setting with a TEACHER present. When I was 8 I went to school dressed as a girl (yes I was draggin that early!) and we were having a costume contest in the auditorium. I had to go back to the classroom for something and on the way back to the auditorium I was confronted by this boy who used to bully me. He was with his sister who was 2 years older and the both of them called me faggot, sissy and the boy started pushing me while his older sister sat there and laughed. The kicker is...*drumroll please*...ratatatatatatatatat the boy who bullied me also came to school dressed as a girl!!! So when I made my escape I saw our teacher and ran to her and told her what happened. She looked at me and said, "That's what you deserve coming to school like that". What a bitch. I truly wish I could see her now. I'd tell her what a bitch she truly is... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Now if that doesn't make you sick, I don't what will. it was especially sad cuz I am so clean. It seems, from reading this thread, the only good insult anyone can get on you is based on race or physical appearance. For instance, the kid last year calling me a "dirty Paki" ...mind you, I'm not from Pakistan, or the middle east, nor is any of my family. That kid was just dumb enough to believe it. I haven't been truely offended by someone's words since about 7th grade when some kid commented on my flat chest. Something about being as flat as a board or summat. It made me quite angry, actually. And sad. But I have since gotten over that. Edit: And I ain't dirty, neither.
