I just knew this thread was gonna be funny. JUST KNEW IT!

shamma di laya shim sheddy ya blah blah.

I never understood the whole speaking in tongues. How we know folks aren't just speaking in baby gibberish?

Oh, girl. My supervisor is one of those die-hards. She claims to "lay hands" and speak in tongue and all that stuff. And don't let me say something self deprecating like, "Oh, I must be losing my mind! I'm Altzheiming today." She say, "GIRL! DON'T CLAIM THAT! THAT'S THE DEVIL TALKING! YOU KEEP ON SAYING THOSE THINGS AND HE WILL PUT THEM ON YOU!!" confused

spit I would have fun terrorizing somebody like that. I would jump up screaming one day and yell "the devil is in da house!" just to freak her out. I'd be like wynona ryder in The Crucible and claiming to see shadows n shit. I'd always see stuff in her office too. nod I'd have everybody in in there thinking boss lady had the power of the hex. Eventually she would retire and the workplace would be full of civility once again.

O nice. High school English?

Ya, the way my teacher did it, is we read the act, then he let us watch that part of the movie after we finished.

It helped get a little bit better idea of what was going on.

OK, folks. I like spiritual, religious, gospel music as much as the next person; however, I don't want to be subjected to falling out and speaking in tongues when I'm working.

This man is in my office painting. My supervisor had some religious music playing through her computer, and I guess the painter is a churchgoer because he started humming to the music, then softly singing, then a little louder singing, then, "YES LAWD!" and "MERCY, FATHER and "WELL!" I thought I was going to have to get up and go get somebody to lay hands or something because Sam was feelin it!

But there is a time and a place...

falloff If I would have heard someone doing that, I would be struggling not to laugh. lol

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
