Not if their coaches don't tell them to, or have them practice it. lol

Can the Sixers win some games? They seem to be playing better especially

Elton Brand and Jrue Holliday. Just finish dammit.

And if they were 8-1 or 7-2 would he still be complaining? Doubt it.

That was a good win for Denver. They played pretty hard, had some scoring from a few players, so I can't really say anything bad about them. But they lose without Melo. And they loose if the Lakers don't have a completely off night. That was a totally different Lakers team than I've seen play their previous 8 games. They need that smack, though. It'll do 'em good.

Siiiigh. I figured the Warriors would lose that Chicago game. But they've got a GREAT chance to win the next three. nod

Knicks had a 21-point lead and lost to the fucking T-Wolves. No defense, hoisting up too many damn threes - they don't even play Knick basketball. Thirty-one rebounds for Kevin Love?????? I FUCKING HATE D'ANFONI!!!!!

He sounds like a bit of a sissy, doesn't he? Can you imagine MJ or Kobe or any Hall of Famer (except, of course, fake HOF'er Scottie Pippen) EVER complaining that they were given too many minutes?

He also said D Wade was playing too many minutes, but I haven't heard Wade say anything about that.

This deal is over. Only Pat Riley can save it. LeBron has poisoned the team attitude toward the coach, and one of them has to go. It won't be LeBron.

I knew LeBron was a bad mix for the locker room. This is D Wade's team and always will be.

Is D'Antonin still playing the Seven Seconds Or Less offense? You know, the one that has the acronym SSOL? Which spelled backwards is LOSS?

Truth is D Wade hasn't won shit since Shaq left. D Wade's chances are better with

LeBron than without him. Ask DWade if he'd prefer to play with Lebron vs Shawn Marion

and Jermaine O'Neal. The season is barely a month old. No need to panic.

For once, Starbury is right;

He doesn’t teach defense,'' Marbury said. "He teaches offense. (Jeff) Van Gundy teaches defense. (The D'Antoni system) doesn't work in New York. Not in the East. You have to have a team that dives for balls and takes the 3 when nobody expects you to take the 3. You have to be inside the fans' minds and that's what they want. There's knowledgeable people in the arena. They're talking to you while you're shooting a jump shot.'' New York Post

Actually, Marbury sounded just like any other bitter Knicks fan disgusted by the team's 3-7 start and five-game losing streak. Marbury claims to be just that – a diehard Knicks fan — though he has fallen out of favor with most supporters. "It's just a matter of time,'' Marbury said. "That's all I got to stay about D'Antoni's situation. I don't pay attention to his coaching. It hasn't changed since he won 50 games or since all the how many games he's lost here. If he had different pieces, he's a very effective coach. But without any players that play with the realm of how he coaches the game, it will never be. "It's a matter of time,'' Marbury added. "It's a countdown now. He put a countdown on his head. Now (the fans) know we're never going to win a championship like this.'' New York Post

Tina Cervasio (sideline reporter) asked Phil Weber (asst coach) at halftime if it was "time to tell the guys to stop shooting threes and start going to the rim" and he replied to the effect of, "Well we're getting wide open threes and that's exactly what we want, we know our guys can hit them."

Walsh needs to wake up and smell the damn coffee. Get D'Amphony's ass out of here.

Seriously! That just blew me away. You can't stop some scorers because they'll just fade and shoot over you if they've got that shot. Or they'll make a move and go by you. But if a dude gets to, I don't know, say, twenty rebounds, you CAN start knocking his punk ass down every time he gets around the rim. You might even try getting everyone to box out. You CAN stop him from getting to 31. lol That mess was ridiculous.

I don't mean to pile on, either, because the Knicks being good is good for the league. But it's NOT just the coaching this season, or at least it's not just the lack of DEFENSIVE coaching. The Knicks just look bad. Really, really bad. No need to panic - they've still got plenty of time to turn it around and make the playoffs in the East. But right now, they look bad.

I can't agree with that Dwayne Wade didn't win anything without Shaq stuff. Dude kept his team relevant and won A LOT of games pretty much by himself over the last few years. Even got them to the playoffs when a lot of other teams couldn't make that happen. Wade is a great player and always will be. But one player can't win a title, that takes a whole team (usually one that plays defense, too lol ).

Where Nash is making a bunch of lesser known names look great. Nash and Grant Hill both are defying logic right now with how well they're playing at their respective ages. Shoot, Hill looks like he's going to play the three of four years he missed due to injuries at the end of his career.

Dude. It's MARBURY! I don't care what he has to say about ANYTHING! lol I totally agree with YOU. But Marbury is a spoiled PAB who did nothing but ignore and fight his coaches. His opinion counts for nothing.

Oh nohs! Oden is out for the rest of the season with microfracture sugery. Man, I feel bad for the guy. He's been so positive through all this. But Portland didn't pick up the option on his contract this season, so I hope he's handled that rookie money right. Gonna be real hard for dude to ever make it back. I feel the same way about Yao, but at least he had a chance to actually play for a few years.

But I can't kill Portland for choosing Sam Bowie. It's easy to blast them in hindsight, but at the time, Portland needed a big man to deal with Magic & Kareem, and Bowie had a solid college career. Jordan wasn't the same player he was at UNC.

Sam was a hurt in college quite a bit as well.
