Sounds like she was a lousy shot and got lucky. Police are trained to shoot the upper torso and kill, not disarm. I'll bet she hit some yak hair weaves and a can of Final Net that were on display, too.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
