*synopsis* A young man named Antron Singleton AKA rapper Big Lurch went on a PCP binge and was found wanderin naked, covered in the blood and full on the flesh of his roommate.

Antron Singleton aka "Big Lurch," an up-and-coming rapper from Texas, was charged with murdering a Los Angeles woman in April, after a detective's report showed there were teeth marks on her face and lungs, which were torn from her chest, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Due to the extreme nature of the crime, Singleton was being held without bail until his arraignment on June 13.

A medical examination conducted shortly after his arrest, found flesh in Singleton's stomach that wasn't his own.

In Compton Superior Court Wednesday, Los Angeles Detective Raymond Jankowski said he found the body of the Tynisha Ysais, 21, Singleton's alleged victim, in her apartment with her chest torn open. Jankowski also reported that he found a three-inch blade broken off in the victim's shoulder blade and her lungs appeared to be chewed and torn.

"Her chest was open, exposing internal organs," Jankowski told the Los Angeles Times.

A friend of Ysais, Alisa Allen, reported that she saw Singleton naked in the street, covered in blood, staring at the sky. After contacting the police, who arrested Singleton, Allen then discovered Ysais lying dead in her apartment.

According to reports, Ysais' boyfriend admitted that he and Singleton were smoking PCP the night before the murder.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), PCP is a white powdery drug that generally causes abusers to become disturbed, delusional, violent, paranoid and fearful when it is sniffed, smoked, or eaten.

Davey D, a hip-hip activist of www.daveyd.com, said he got to know Singleton when he worked as a personality at California radio station KMEL 106.1. He said the crime that Singleton is accused of doesn't fit his personality nor is it indicative of hip-hop music. "I don't think this fits anyone's rap persona. PCP is capable of taking anyone out of their mind. This is bigger then hip-hop," he told BET.Com.

"It begs to question what is going on that so many people feel they got to take a mind altering substance to remove them from their natural mind state," he queried. "At times the world is a crazy place and this situation with Big Lurch proves that."

As Big Lurch, Singleton has rapped with popular rappers like Jive Records' artist Mystikal and E-40 of California.

Unfortunatley i was a horrible drug addict for many years, coke/crack was my thing, but i swallowed anything really.

Witnessed my "mates" dying around me, one by one, and after nearly dying myself, i got help.

I kid you not, not pretty, not proud.

Drugs are shit.

The Los Angeles native, born Houston Summers IV, was overseas for a series of performances when the incident occurred. He scored a hit last year with "I Like That," which featured Chingy and Nate Dogg and was used in a McDonald's commercial (see "Houston Scores Club Hit ...Nate Dogg"). His debut album, It's Already Written, was certified gold a month after its release in August.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Houston during this tragic time," a Capitol Records spokesperson said.

Los Angeles radio station KKBT-FM's K-Sly, who appeared in the "I Like That" video and is close to Houston's camp, said the singer had been under psychiatric care last year for manic depression. Another source corroborated that claim, adding that Houston had also struggled with PCP.

"I was told he wanted to commit suicide and stabbed his eye out," K-Sly said. "He was telling people he was Jesus and wanted to go home to his Father" (see "Bodyguard: Houston 'Happ...uging Eye").

The singer is now back in Los Angeles.

"Fame will make you crazy," Bill said in a statement. "Fame isn't for everybody. There are people who have a fear of fame, those who want fame, and those who don't understand fame. It drives them crazy, because it is a lot of responsibility to be all things to all people, and you can lose yourself in the shuffle, where there are no longer 52 cards in the deck."

I was always under the impression that PCP was the drug that made people REALLY hallucinate and become so paranoid or psychotic that they would jump out a window or hurt themselves.

PCP (angel dust) has ALWAYS been many levels of fucked up. That's why it never caught on as a casual use drug. It doesn't get you high - it gets you lost and unfeeling. Nasty stuff.

Thanks for your comment. It was hard work, but i could not have done it without the help of others, and for them i will always be grateful.

my brother shaved his tongue when he was a toddler

so you can do it, but he does not recommend it!
