so what happened when you saved the cat?

I rushed her to the vet, paid $1000 to have her treated and she came home happy.

This proves that cats can only learn the value of love/friendship after a near-death experience confused

I don't like cats confused , but that doesn't mean I'm not glad that your cat survived of course lol wink hug yay!

It proves it for this cat. My other 2 cats (especially my male cat) love me.

But to be fair to Gemini, she was a rescue and I have no idea how she was treated before I got her. She might have been abused and this is why she always kept her distance.

hmmm So, the moral to this story is to dunk aloof cats?

Glad it's turned out so well, Erin.

I really want to encorage you to write this all out. You got a cat named gemini that is stan offish, has a near death exp and is now a 'different' cat. He really was a gemini. but now the 'sweet' one is taking over for the 'stuck up' one.

there is some depth here. well cat depth. (i have 2 cats they are pains, why at 3am must he put his bung in my face?)

You're shocked that she laid out a grand? For people who love their animals, that's chump change. lol

nod When two of my cats needed an operation, it cost me around $1,500.00 for each cat. It was worth it, though, because now they're happy and healthy. Plus I get to spoil them for a bit longer.
