Is there any good FREE animation software out there? A few months back I painstakingly put together a presentation/movie at work by photographing individual movements of Lego men and putting them into PowerPoint with timings etc to make a short movie (about 10 mins long); this was part of a course at work. Trouble is it caught peoples eye and now I am getting requests to do something similar for several other delta. Doing the original Lego short took 'me months and there is no way I can (or want to) dedicate that much time and effort again. Does anyone know of any free software than can produce cartoon/comic book style movies etc relatively easily that I could use. It needs to be able to run on PC and preferably export to something I can play on Joe Publics pc or burn to a DVD movie. Thanks

Not that i know of but, I use anime studio. . It has a interesting feature called " Bone Rigging ". Where you can create a skeleton to your charactor, and easly manipulate him with out using frame to frame animation. [Edited 10/22/10 9:13am]
