I just thought about this. Say your favorite artist announced that anyone with a tattoo of their likeness or name or logo could have a free pass to any of their shows for life, would you do it?

No, unless maybe it was a guaranteed front-row center seat, or seat of my choosing, for every show I went to.

But you can be certain this would have to be in writing, certified by three separate attorneys as to its airtightness, and maybe even collateralized by some money in case the artist defaulted or retired prior to an agreed-upon date.

Some DJs said they'd pay $100K to anyone that got the station logo tattooed on their forehead. A man AND his stepson both did, and then the DJs said it was only a joke and they weren't going to get any money.

To make matters worse - as if that could happen - the station changed both its call letters and its format. So these poor guys have a tattoo on their foreheads of a station that no longer exists.

The dudes sued but then later dropped their cases.

Bummer.

when i saw audioslave i was waiting for my ride cause i take the riverline to camden and crash at my dads after being he lives close, tom morello came out for autographs. he signed my side and i got it tattooed the next day. on my birthday in 2007 i went to see jonathan davis of korn on a solo tour. i was shocked he came out and did autographs 15 minutes after the show ended. i had idolized him for 12 yrs so to meet him was crazy.that's the band that got

me thru high school!i swear it was like he was my best friend forever. my shyness/borderline asbergers "whatever" was totally gone. i swear i'm not starstruck i am better with celebrities then normal strangers! anywho he grabbed my hand to sign my wrist. now in my head i was thinking OMFG don't faint!!! i tattooed it myself on the next day.

i got a portrait of michael hutchence from INXS on my chest.oh to have a time machine to see him in concert.

now prince. idk how i would act with him. considering i wasn't a blithering idiot for one of my biggest idols jon from korn maybe i'd fine!

i got 3 self done prince tattoos. the blue angel guitar on my left thigh,a purple symbol on my right upper arm and a japanese anime cartoon on my right collarbone.....i posted the link in the art section but here i'll post them directly

nearly healed..yellow looks brighter and you can see hutch!

Hate to say it but they're just really horrible. maybe you should buy some canvas and paint something instead. But as long as they make you happy i guess that's all that matters.
