Seeing as how I kind of have a shoe "thing" , I'd need to see the rest of them to agree/disagree. I don't find those particularly sexy just sitting there, though. I guess it would depend on what the foot looked like in the shoe, seeing as how they're mesh. I know I'd like them more, from a viewers asthetic pov - not on my feet , if they were black. Also, I bet they won just because they're all sparkly and shit.

I liked the Valentino on the linked page. All the others are just so-so. But even if I could afford to buy them, I wouldn't spend $1195 on a freakin pair of shoes I'd probably wear twice.

Those would have been my choice as well.

Bah! The winning pair is just expensive and shiny. I like 'em, but they're not that sexy.

I actually love these Jimmy Choo's.

Hmm. I might like these, too. They look a bit like a very modern Victorian boot. I think I'd like them more with an enclosed front, and maybe a half inch less heel.

America has voted, and Christian Louboutin’s crystal-embellished mesh peep-toe pump is the sexiest shoe of the year.

Nearly 8,000 consumers weighed in on 23 designer heels in the online FN Sexy Shoes contest, and the red-sole king took the top prize.

FN Editorial Director Michael Atmore unveiled the honor during an exclusive event at Saks Fifth Avenue’s 10022-SHOE floor on Thursday.

Louboutin’s director of communications, Shawna Rose, told the crowd that the designer’s shoes were like his girls and the winning pair “was one of his favorite girls.”

The runners-up in the contest included heels from Giuseppe Zanotti, Dolce & Gabbana and Jimmy Choo.

I love the heel. Won't the front make it look like your feet have teeth?

I watch a lot of horror movies. I think they'd be good to attend the premier of Shark Week.

It's not to say I don't think they're not pretty...in a toothy flame-y kind of way.

I like the black pair better than the winners, too. But I'm not generally a fan of heels that make women look like they're going to fall down. Those are a little too tall for my tastes. I do love the zipper in the back, though. That's why I like those Jimmy Choo's, too.

Nicholas Kirkwood is the shit tho...for someone who can carry off an out-there "art" shoe.

I love those Loubou's!! One of my co-workers wore them to a function, they're stunning on.

Love the Fendi's and the Brian Atwood's but the rest of the selections? A couple of them look like something my grandmom would wear!

Love Haring, hate those shoes. (You can throw stuff at me if you like... just no shoes! ) I like plain shoes. No "stuff" on them or protruding off of them. Something simple that excentuates the foot/calf.

Those booties are hot. I don't care what you or anyone else says. With some black leggings and maybe something short (mid thigh or so) and maybe even polka dotted up top for the hell of it.
