Number23

It should have starred Prince, Larry and a cartoon version of Bugs Bunny like in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Bugs front, Larry middle, prince the arse end. Art imitating life.

Of course it was worse. The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity were great movies--85% and 82% positive ratings respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.

Are you surprised? Surely you had some inkling before you went in.

Anyone know hows it doing at the box office?

I rented it on DVD for $1 and was mad !! The acting was amateurish at best. The gore was not nearly in the same level of hostel. For all the hype it got in here, I expected more than this crap

This movie was not "greenlit" by Hollywood! It's a cheaply made independent opportunistic venture.

"The concept of the film arose from a joke Tom Six made with friends about punishing child molesters by stitching their "mouth to the ass of a fat truck driver."

Roger Ebert refused to give this film any stars for his review (not to be confused with a zero star rating), closing it by writing, "[The film] is what it is and occupies a world where the stars don't shine."

Tom Six had previously worked as a director on the Dutch series of Big Brother

this last one makes me laugh:

While seeking funding for the film, Tom Six pitched the idea of a surgeon who sewed people together,[7] but he did not initially reveal that the victims would be joined mouth-to-anus, fearing that it would put off potential investors. His backers did not learn the exact details of the film until it had been completed.
