That looks so good, I thought it was the chicken stew with the cauliflower! Those look like they could be rolled chicken breasts and the ice cream like cauliflower. Don't matter. I'd eat both dishes in a heartbeat. Punkie can tho down!
She sure the hell can! That looks so good!
Morrocan style chicken everything she describes sounds so yummy! |

Yesterday I was a cookin' fool. My old dude loves Indian food so I made butter chicken, and palak paneer

Then I had to made a second dish for my women's bible study meetin'; it was the end of the year soiree combined with celebration for the end of our Isaiah study. It was a potluck and I contributed a stuffed pork roast w/ shallots & apricots, and a mixed field green salad with haricort verts, potatoes, (no olives like in the pic), basil and cherry tomatoes and herbed goat cheese rounds on the side.

today I took it down a notch and just made a simple, home style, pan seared catfish with cajun seasoning and some roasted ptoatoes. Tomorrow I dunno

Chile, y'all don't mess around, do you? That butter chicken and string bean salad look downright slap-yo-mama worthy! |

I was considering meatloaf yesterday, but we had so much meatloaf in the past 6 weeks I turned around and oven baked some bbq chicken instead. It cured my tomato-ey sauce on meat craving, and I just made a side of pesto veggies and salad to go with it.

It's raining today, and we'll eat lunch at church (which is always a heavy potluck of gawd knows what piled on your plate), so Sunday evenings I like to have fish with veggies to lighten the load on my stomach a little... |

I just put a Moroccan chicken stew in the slow cooker: chicken breast, onions, garlic, carrots, ginger, cauliflower, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, cumin, homemade chicken stock and a little brown sugar.

My bread making skills leave so much to be desired
These dumplings, however...
I think they probably contain the secrets of the universe.
Damn. |

Damn.
They're HORRIBLE.
I mean, they taste absolutely divine.
But they're made with Pillsbury Crescent rolls, two sticks of butter and a can of Mt Dew.

I usually do everything from scratch, but these things are so easy, so satanic, and taste like you're going to die. It's what you make it. |
