when I tried it for the first time I felt like a hole was being ripped through my chest and the coughing wasn't helping. I literally took 2 little barely there puffs and it all was over AND I had the nerve to do this at lunchtime. Let me just end this story.

I do admit that sometimes a couple of drags are perfect, specially on saturday night (if you want to feel confident/cool) but I don't feel like smoking an entire fuckin' joint

and I've never bought pot...and never will... some people are so addicted, that they don't feel nothing anymore, not even when they smoke a gigantic joint...sad, really...

I wish I had a big ass joint right now. I haven't burned one in about 17 years. I miss those days get up, smoke one, and not get a fucking thing done you had planned for that day.

You're confusing two things. Yes, people can be psychologically addicted marijuana but it's not physically addictive like nicotine or alcohol.

Two, it's the tolerance to marijuana, not the addiction.

You can't smoke more and more marijuana, chasing a high like you can with cocaine.

You will only get so high on marijuana, no matter how much you smoke.

They are probably just showing fewer effects from marijuana because it's not new to them or intermittent. Doesn't mean they aren't high.

Not all pot is created equal. If they're not getting high anymore, they either need to quit or get better connections (...cause the weed I smoke gets me high EVERYTIME - And I'm no novice, lol).

Well, my first times were pretty terrible too. I didn't know how to inhale the thing correctly and I got really fucked up since we were using a bong. Many times the bad side effects are caused by mixing the weed with too much tobacco. That usually happens when someone that has smoked both weed and cigarettes himself for years shares that stuff and doesn't realize the novices can't simply handle the mix.

I'm not trying to talk anyone into doing it, but there's also a difference between good and bad weed.

Anyone who ingests marijuana gets high, even when don't realize they've ingested any. If they are smoking it, they are ingesting and getting high.

If you ate a marijuana brownie, you would get high, even if you didn't know what was causing what you were feeling.
