Antarctica. Seriously.

I know someone who sailed there from the southern tip of Argentina. They didn't dock or anything, but she said it was awesome to see.

Yeah I was looking at tours down there. Some will dock, weather depending, and let you off the ship. It's extremely expensive, though. ANd that's just the ticket onto the ship, not counting airfare and lodging in Argentina.

Damn, like, every place already listed on this thread other than NY, LA, SF and Las Vegas. I'll add Madagascar to the list, too. There was a huge piece on that country in a recent National Geographic and it blew my mind. So much is completely unique to that small country and most of it will be gone soon. Iceland is also still near the top of the list.

What's annoying about it? I've never been to Europe except for trips to Ireland that I can't remember (infancy, not drugs).

A shit load of tourists, and every last one of them seem to be annoying the locals. The stuck up, unfriendly locals. lol And I found it to be really expensive, although there's probably some way to do it cheaply (or cheaper).

Aren't you the same person that doesn't like people anyway? lol

Word. nod So bad it makes me ache with longing and even a little sad. It's still possible I'll be about to "visit" space in my lifetime, but it's looking less likely as time goes by.

Absolutely! lol I'm really open and honest about that, so it should always be taken into account. nod Paris was definitely beautiful, especially at night. But during the day it felt very much like any other tourist trap. WAY too many people doing all the same things at the same time. But I did have some incredible cheese and bread. nod
