Ok so a few folk seem to get mad (or at least somewhat annoyed) at some of us for making comments on the Forever 21 thread.

Here's a chance to set the record straight that most of us did not mean to make fun of anyone for dressing inexpensively. At least I don't think anyone really did. I, for one, so very seldom dress expensively. I'm an artist, I don't have that kind of cash ...just yet.

Anyway...

Today I picked up a purple sweater and some cords. That's all I've been wanting for about a month now, a damn purple sweater and some cords.

Got this sweater (looks much nicer in person, actually ) at Tar-gay for $20.

While there I picked up 2 $4.99 tees one orange and one green to wear under (and under button downs) for a small pop of bright color).

Then I ran over to Old Navy and picked up these cords that are on sale for $20.

I also picked up a lightweight thermal for layering or wearing on its own. They're on sale for $10. Can't go wrong.

About 2 months ago I picked up these Steve Madden boots at DSW for $30!!! Gotta love that purple ticket.

I haven't really been shopping shopping for a while, but at the beginning of the summer, I went to Kohl's and JC Penney and bought some cute little dresses for summer...

The one I wore at John's cost about $20 or $25. The shoes were about $25 on sale.

Besides the Levi stuff, I generally like Merona best of the men's stuff there.

The day before last I shopped without looking at price tags, in stores OTHER than K-Mart

I pretended I was loaded and bought everything I liked that suited me.

I discovered I quite like the fit in ESPRIT and I might just keep going back there

I just ordered 4 pairs of boots from sears all for less that 110.00!!! They are just casual boots since I didnt have anything for dressing down.. I was surprised at the selection they had online and the massive markdown!!
