The trailer has been on the AppleTV for quite a few months, and they've recent updated it more. I'm quite anxious to see it, despite Justin Timberlake being in it.

Been following stories and reviews of it over at AICN for quite a while. I'm interested, but with reservations. Interested because I love (and trust) David Fincher, worship Trent Reznor and think Jesse Eisenberg is going to have a great career. Reservations because I don't find the subject matter interesting in the slightest and I'm still unsure about Justin Timberlake as an actor. Everything I've read from participants and reviewers (including Trent Reznor) is that it's actually really dark. That makes it a bit more interesting, but still makes me go, "huh... a dark Facebook movie". lol At this point I'm planning on seeing it in a theater.

I've been on the look out for this film ever since word got out about it.

nod That's what's drawing me to it. If it was just a fluffy little movie about how FB started, I'd be like, meh....

When a film gets this much critical acclaim, I'll see it. Even though I've never had a Facebook account. razz

Stupist, most corniest garbage I ever laid eyes upon. With Justin Timberlake in it to top it off.

The subject matter intrigues me, but - if it intrigued me that much - I'd just google the pertinent info (don't need a fictional version of the events, thanks).

...Actually, I guess my intrigue level here is pretty low if I won't even bother to expend a few keystrokes on it. lol

Jesse Eisenberg gets the same criticism I think, but I've also read if there's one role that's perfect for him, it's this one.

I saw it. If it sounds boring to you, don't go see it just because it's getting a lot of praise from critics. That's what I did, and I wish I had stayed home, lol. My cousin loved it, though.

I feel the same way, and I haven't even seen it. lol

And since Timberlake is in it, I won't be viewing it. disbelief

When I saw him in Zombieland, I thought he was the Superbad kid too.

But yeah, he never plays anyone new. Looking at your chart, if Year One wasn't set in the stone age, he'd have had a hoodie and a guitar.

Anyone who has seen my reviews of other recent movies knows I am a real big pain in the arse when it comes to expectations. Most of the time, I give movies a thumbs down because they either have no character development or try to jam too many action sequences into a mind numbing timeframe.

Well I just got back from seeing this and I give it a solid A-/B+. If you've seen the trailer, then you know what you are going to see, story wise. There isn't anything here that is going to knock your socks off regarding the plot/story, but it is an extremely well acted, well paced movie.

If you don't go to the theatre often, I wouldn't necessarily say this is a MUST-SEE movie. But it's definitely worth at least renting.

This is the first movie I have seen at the theatre since Michael Clayton where I actually walked out feeling like I had watched something worthy of my time and $$.

Saw it yesterday. Thought it had some cute moments. It was definetely dramatic...

It's a decent movie and worth going to see with a few friends...but I wouldn't say it's the greatest film. There are better. Timberlake there can't really act..lol

Just how much of it is fact I don't know...

When Facebook became popular there were jokes around that a movie on it was bound to happen one day.
