Basically, within the next few months, I really want to set up a web site to promote my writing. I don't want anything particularly flashy but I want it to look good, obviously.

The trouble is, I am not great with computers and I have NO IDEA how to go about setting up my own web site. Can anyone here who knows anything about this give me any advice/tips/ideas or links to sites that help with this matter? I am totally and utterly new to this so I am basically learning from scratch.

I'd appreciate any help.

go to wordpress.com and use their templates to start a blog... it's free, user friendly and GREAT for writers...
