Got the job I have been talking about!! I'm so excited!! Not only is it 5 minutes from my house I get to wear scrubs (like wearing PJ's to work every day )

Would just like to share I was stressing over this big time, was praying here and there for this but Wed. I had to take about an hour trip, said the rosary the whole way..........got home and the message was on the phone. Prayer does work!!

Well, it was about this girl Janie, who was the last of her friends to get her first period. They kept asking her, "Janie, didja get it?" One day she opened her locker and there was a poster inside that said JANIE, DID YOU GET IT??

When she finally did, she called her best friend and announced "I got it!!"

Me and my friends didn't even really talk about maturing and such things. I can only remember one time when it was brought up. Guy 1: "So, any of you got pubes yet?". Guys 2, 3 and 4: "Yup", "Not really" "Some". Guy 1: "Alright, anybody feel like playing some Commodore 64?". lol

I do remember it being a topic of conversation with my girlfriends. But what girls go through is more intense in terms of pain, mood changes and sudden profuse bleeding from between the legs. You guys get horny and hairy, big deal.

Plus we're just more communal anyway, so it stands to reason that we'd share more amongst ourselves about puberty than boys.
