Sir Micky Caine explains the end of Inception - SPOILER!!!

It's official - the end of Inception is reality, the top falls and it isn't a dream.

For those of you who didn't hear it or get Radio 1, Sir Michael Caine confirmed that the end of the movie is reality and not a dream as Michael Caines character is never in any sequence that is a dream...being he guy who invented the dream in the first place (I have no idea what he meant by that bit but hey).

There you go...cracked it

Nah - I always assumed it was so you weren't spoonfed the answer. All the reviews and Nolan said it was solvable but you had to watch carefully...so I took that to mean it had a definitive end

throughout the dream sequences, the top spins very evenly and smoothly. at the end, the top appears to wobble - thus indicating it will topple over/stop which would mean the last scene takes place in the waking world.
