this is off topic but i'm pretty fond of squirrels. yesterday, driving to work, i saw one nearly get run over by an SUV. poor little thing just took to running full speed across the street and i'm not sure that lady even saw him/her. it was really close, like, he/she darted betwen the Big Rubber Wheels of Death.

would you please tell your pals to always look both ways before crossing the street? it breaks my heart when i see dead squirrels in the road.
