my sister, for my last birthday, gave me a wrought iron and copper water feature that looked like a set of scales

needless to say, on the way home from my birthday dinner, I dropped it off on the nature strip next to someone's hard rubbish collection, which is where I suspect she got it from in the first place pissed

I don't have a picture of it. barf

but here is an attractive ornament for your tree

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

It's items like this that make me wonder if there isn't such a thing as objectively poor taste after all.

My nan usually buys things like this for everyone at christmas. I always used to feel guilty and get stuff out when I knew she would be visiting. I've thrown it all away now.

One thing I did keep from her was this 3 monkeys thing... my kids really like it, so I decided to keep it in a room upstairs that we hardly ever use.

They're so used to being criticized that they don't want to see or hear or say anything more. lol

Speaking of hearing, did you ask your boss about tinnitus remedies by any chance?
