That's awesome.

I used to hate Kohl's when they first came to NJ (when we were still living there). I thougth it was stuffy and old fashioned. We went there last year and I was pleasantly surprised. I even bought Ron a jacket there last Christmas.

I heart Kohl's. I've purchased two tweed blazers there that I saw at other stores (literally, the same blazers) for two and three times as much.

Yeah, the "ticket" price on the jeans is $65. That's 80% off!!!

Now, I realize that their clothes rarely sell at ticket price...so figure that maybe their true worth was $40? At $13 that's still almost 70% off their SALE price!

And the best thing is, they fit perfectly. dancing jig

ACCCTually the Tommy Hilfiger shirt I have on in this pic (I have one in orange too) I got at Salvation army that was less than a mile from us when we lived in Philly(so I got them about 4 years ago and still wear them every summer). I paid no more than $10, maybe even closer to 5 for each.

[img:$uid]http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i9/jgascot/personal/shower.jpg[/img:$uid]

They used to get a lot of great stuff from the next town over, Yardley which has a lot of $$$. We got a bunch of great furniture (see Your Great Finds thread) there too. I also got a great pair of Bass shoes there for like 5 bucks and had the soles replaced at the shoe repair for like 10 bucks. They lasted me till about 2 years ago.

When we went up through the area last time we were so excited to hit the Salvation but they had closed it down and don't know if it moved. pout

I still haven't found a thrift place around here with good or interesting clothes. sigh

that isn't on sale or comes from a discount store

and I think I dress pretty well

I'm no model

but at worst, I atleast look presentable

and at best, look pretty damn good

How is it you feel?

well, i'm sorry i leaped to conclusions about you. glad to know thre is someone else like me. i love buying recycled goods. not just because it costs less, but because when i do, that's one less new item that needs to be manufactured.

besides, i'm one of those people who don't quite fit the 'fashion ideal' to begin with, and so whenever i get the chance to avoid buying into the look that the fashion world has determined should suit me, be it furniture of clothing or whatever, it makes me a teensy bit glad. i guess that's kind of odd, in a way. oh well redface

me too! i would hate having something like that. anyone would. but, didn't i read that abercrombie and fitch in NYC had to close for fumigation due to those little suckers? they are everywhere! i'm not sure there's any way to prevent contact with them, now they're so widespread. just, know what you're seeing, when you do
