I have been owning a Honda since 1976...

I loved my Honda Civics, very reliable.

Now I drive a Honda CRV, and I just love this psuedo SUV...

wellbeyond

Honda Civics are like tanks, at least the older ones are...they last for awhile, even if you don't bother taking the slightest bit of care in them (which I didn't..lol)...I wouldn't suggest doing that, tho... :O

stymie

I owned a 1997 Honda Civic. Never had a moment's problem with it and it also drove great here in Chicago winters. Never had a problem starting it, even in extreme cold temperatures.

I owned an '82 Civic...best car I ever had (also had a Jeep, Mazda, and now a Ford). I normally buy used, but when my Ford gets sold or drops dead, my new car is going to be a Honda Accord. Can't wait!

Here's consumer reports list of most and least reliable (scroll down):

my first car was an '80 Civic, it was the best (got it in '92)

but it had a problem where I would drive for 15 minutes, then the power would gradually die and I'd have to pull over for a little while, then it would start up again. it was a real pain in the ass.

can anybody tell me what the hell that was all about?

I have a Honda Civic EX and I love it. I drive 40 miles a day, 5 days a week and spend $12 on gas. It's a 99 and I haven't had any problems besides a hit and run!

I've always drove a Honda. Don't know much about the civics though.

My first was a Honda 4 wheeler and then a 3 wheeler.
