What is your fave kind ?

The kind with caramel.

This batch I melted dark chocolate in with the caramel ~ some plain and some with salted pumpkin seeds

Those both sound quite tasty, though! Do you just dip the apples in whole pupkin seeds or do you crush the seeds first?

OM NOM NOM NOM drool

Agreed. nod

Whole unshelled seeds

I haven't had one in YEARS...but I really liked candy apples as a kid (not caramel apples). I've never been enticed by the caramel.

HOWEVER, about 2 years agi, my wife received a "gourmet" apple that was OUT OF THIS WORLD.

It was a granny smith covered in dark chocolate, drizzled with caramel, and sprinkled with crushed nuts & coconut.

drool I only had a bite or 2 and I still drool over at the thought of it!

I'm feeling deprived now. All I've had are the usual peanuts, which I don't really care for (rather have almonds or cashews), and an all chocolate dip. I'm looking at that picture wondering why I haven't had all of those?! mad lol

It's a brand of caramel apple.

They're made in Chicago. And I guess this is as far out as they sell.
