All album covers should be that good.

Oh. I thought you were serious. Yeah, if you actually use your iPod it would seem like a car adaptor would be a must. It would be for me, but I just can't be bothered to use an MP3 player. I'd just lose it or break it anyway. That's why I still by cheap ass sunglasses.

I have 5 or 6 different pairs, so if I sit on them or drop them or the kids colour in the lenses with sharpies ( ) it doesn't matter so much
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I once thought if I started getting expensive pairs that I would take better care of them, or pay more attention to where their passage to the alternate sunglasses universe was hiding. Pshh! I still lost or broke them within a couple months at most, usually more like my usual couple weeks.

I considered that, but I don't trust myself

You should see the cassette cover unfolded.

I used to have a pair of $100 Ray-Bans, but after those broke I went back to $10 cheapies bought off the street in Greenwich Village.

so the full muff is there on the next panel?

Burning CDs - because to me they're simpler. Then again I'm kinda old fashioned in that respect.

No there's another nude woman on the right: http://assets1.subpop.com...n/7214.jpg (NSFW)

So does mine. And it doesn't have a cd player either. Just a tape deck. And I'm not even joking.
I can't remember the last time I played a real cassette in it either. I actually do use one of these: [img:$uid]http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSRUZB1om0eWDcxV6YBb0YrHsa-uotFB6AVpVx9skYlr0u7KNg&t=1&usg=__GQTyoyEjDq0tYn3gM9CMZF2RyZo=[/img:$uid] to connect my mp3 player, which is a perfectly adequate solution as far as I'm concerned. I spend so little time in the car these days that it's not worth spending anything on a more modern solution. I prefer to spend my money on superior audio systems for the home. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

And you're an old guy trying to be down with "Glee". I saw your post. Don't think you slick Kelvin.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I'm not "slick", I try to stay current .
I always keep some type of entertainment gadget with me now. In the 90s, I kept 30 to 50 cds in my vehicle at all times (in the cases). In the 00s, I really downsized and started burning cds...then moved to mp3 players in the late 00s.
Now, I carry my phone and have about 300 songs in there. On my phone, I have internet where I have access to my entire music library via my own web server. If I want to hear a song on my home computer, I can download it directly to my phone.
So, I'm like my parents....I try to stay "modern" and up to date on technology. Convience and connectivity are everything! **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I like the blonde better. They chose the right one for the outside of the cover.
Oops edit. I wrote "blonder". [Edited 10/7/10 18:40pm]

Oh I like that idea. | |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I reckon sexton made that tape cover himself
which is a good idea, just print out any old pervy pic and cut it to 120mm x 120mm and voila, instant CD sleeve

A good idea, yes. But it is actually the cover for the cassette. I knew it was when I saw the Dum Dum Girls insert.

looks so home-made! Perhaps that's the idea

For sure. Super low budget independently released CASSETTE. There style is even classified as "lo-fi" - like a garage band.

The brunette is more my type. And I find her pointy boobs more interesting too.

LOVE Dum Dum Girls. I'm seeing them live again next month!

I made myself a data disc, but it put it in an order like
1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2
rather than grouping the albums together. My Legacy

You have to have individual albums in their own folders and number the tracks 01, 02, 03, 04, etc. If you player is still reading them as groups of 01, 01, 01, 01, 02, 02, 02, etc, then number the first album 1-01, 1-02, 1-03, etc to the end of that album. Number the second album 2-01, 2-02, 2-03, third album 3-01, 3-02, 3-03 etc. But if the tracks are in corresponding album folders, numbered 01, 02, 03, 04 etc, they should read seperately. .... hope that makes sense.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
gotcha, I thought maybe the player would not read the folders, I will try that My Legacy

Most of them read folders. It's more likely that you'll come across the occasional complete album that it will ignore because of some anomalous information contained in the ID3 tags. But folders should work.
