Todays the big day!!!! :)

I find out if the little nipperbunns is a boy or girl!!!

Back later with the news!!!!!!

(I'm so excited)

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

Have you considered names?

I'm thinking "Lammastide" for a boy; "Lammastida" for a girl. nod

lol

When I was pregnant with Noah I was hoping it was twins.

I don't it is this time around. I've had two ultrasounds already and both times they said there was only one in there. Todd is hoping for twins, cuz he wants two outta me, and he knows this is his only shot. lol

I keep calling the baby 'Gourdy' when I tlak about him/her.

But if it's a girl we agreed on Madeline, since we ate at Madelines, the night of conception, and Violet as the middle name.

For a Boy I told him he could pick and he piked Jackson Donald.......we'll call him Jax.

good luck...the most important thing is that the baby be healthy.

how's the baby daddy's job going?....is he putting money aside?...are you on his health insurance policy to pay for the delivery, etc?

I guess I'm old-fashioned but we didn't find out early the sex of either of our children.

From a guy's standpoint, there is NOTHING cooler than bursting into a crowded waiting room and shouting "IT'S A ____!!!!!!"

But to each their own.

eek

I've had mine! I sure as hell don't want anymore! lol

When I fell pregnant the first time we found out it was a girl.

And then 2nd time around - I really, really hoped it would be a boy and eveyone knew I did. I was sure I would have another girl though.

Anyway we went for the scan and found out it was a boy and for some reason I started crying. I guess I was so convinced it would be a girl. It was a shock.

Don't get me wrong though - i'd have been happy whatever the outcome. I just always knew I wanted 2 children (same for my husband) and I feel blessed to have one of each.

with each pregnancy I wanted a girl, but after trying 3 times I gave up

That's exactly what I think.

I've heard people say 'It ruins the surprise' but I don't think it does. When the baby is born it's exciting enough weather you already know what it is or not.

....personally, when anyone has a baby the first thing I want to know is how big it was, not the sex.

I named all my kids pretty much as soon as I knew what sex they were, it really helped me bond with them, to start to love them already, picture them in my mind.

With Oscar (first one) because we didn't find out until he was born, there was a twinge of disappointment that he wasn't a girl. I did have some difficulty dealing with the whole trauma of prolonged labour and emergency caesar, and I was kind of just surviving the ordeal without looking forwards to meeting my little guy, which, looking back on it now, almost brings me to tears.

With the second two, I just couldn't wait to meet them at last! It was all about THEM and not so much the "pregnancy" or the "birth" if you know what I mean?

Yeah, we namd ours early too.

I think that, especially with the first, it is an ordeal and it's a lot to cope with even in a relatively easy birth. I just wanted a bath after my first was born lol and I was worried because I didn't feel this overwhelming love straight away that people told me I should expect.

I didn't even CARE. I remember a midwife lifting up my blanket, probably 10 hours after the c-section, and exclaiming (with thinly veiled horror) "why, nobody has cleaned you up yet!"

UGH.

When I had Max, I popped him out and went and showered on my own straight away, now THAT was AWESOME!!! I remember examining my tummy in the mirror, I'd gone from HOUSE to little pot belly, and I was thrilled biggrin
