It's why I was happily single for years until I met the one I knew I'd have a healthy, happy and fulfilling relationship with. It's what you make it. |

OMGICHOKED! Love that pic. Saved! As militant as I am about it, I would make the effort if I met a person I felt fit that description. But you've got to be trying to find them, or at least open to finding them for that to happen. I'm not. Two of the last three dates I went on ended with me taking them home in the middle of the evening by saying I didn't feel well. The third one lasted a couple weeks because she was a friend of a friend, so I gave it a real try. But the first time I got a "but I thought you said waaaaaaa", I just stopped calling. I'm HAPPILY too set in my ways and I have no interest in compromise. |

There's room for balance in life.
My partner is way more conservative than I. I have 5 tats and would probably have full sleeves but I resist the urge because I love him and know it's not his thing. I already have some. I can watch them get all soggy and shit as I get old but still know I have someone who loves me by my side. He wouldn't break up with me if I insisted on getting more, but why would a tat be that important in the bigger picture? |

He's totally hot and of course I'd fuck him (or rather have him do me) but I think the Marilyn piercing is just about the worst invented. |

Other than the Erl (bridge of nose), which I find totally unattractive and completely distracting, I agree with you. I'm not a huge fan of beauty marks either, though. I know, weird.

I don't mind real beauty marks but the Monroe piercings bug the shit out of me. I agree with you on the bridge of nose ones. I'm not a fan of an eyebrow piercing on a girl either. I don't care if that's a double standard...double standards exsist, deal with it. |

Cindy Crawford created my aversion to beauty marks. And I don't even know if hers is real or not. But for some reason I could never look away from it. I was hypnotized by Cindy Crawford's evil beauty mark. |

My missus has said she wants another tattoo and I've said I think it's a bad idea. She wants the whole cliche Japanese thing with the fish and the waves and all that, but maybe since she's Asian she could pull it off? Anyway, it wouldn't be a big problem if she got another tattoo. I certainly wouldn't leave her over it. She's too beautiful to leave. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!! |

would a tattoo or piercing change ur mind about becoming involved with some1??...could the addition of a particular tattoo/piercing change how attracted u were 2 some1 that u were involved with?
or on the other hand, if u were with somebody, and they expressed a distaste for something that u wanted done, but didnt have yet, would u go behind their back and just do it anyways, with no regard 2 how they felt??...if so, why?
...is it wrong 2 have the slightest expectation of communication with ur partner/spouse/significant other/etc when it comes 2 body modification?
slightly off topic...do u think that in 2days society, having multiple visible tattoos/piercings makes u less desirable in the job market and such??...or is it just particular positions??...i only ask cause i know there are certain professions that prefer that u not have multiple facial piercings/visible tattoos and have rules and regulations pertaining to things such as hair color and just overall appearance...
please discuss...
ii can see the concerns... but i don't think i would have the right to tell my lover what to do |

I personally admire tribal tattoos with real meaning of indigenous people... like Samoans, full body/face tats, I think its beautiful.
That said, it also depends on the tattoo... if it's a racist tattoo, or a full facial tattoo that I thought would make life difficult for us, I would probably still have sex with him but I would not make him a "keeper". I would start searching for a new lover that wouldn't do things behind my back the same day.
Heck, I don't expect a dude to stay with me if I did the same.

I did have a guy break up with me once for having henna tattoos. I had them on my hands and feet. They were only temporary but at the time he didn't know it and thought they were pagan or some shit. He probably thought I worshipped the devil or something. Some people are very weird about tattoos. You can get your tits done and dye your hair hot pink but you can't get a tat. |

issues over henna? wow... I guess he wasn't a keeper. But its true what you say about tats. They tend to be deal breakers for some reason. |
