Damn, I just read in the paper today that he was admitted to a hospice for dementia.

Yesterday was an awesome day being in sea of probably over a million fans and gawkers in orange and black around the city. I viewed the parade at the end of the route in the Civic Center. The weather was perfect for November. It was a huge outdoor party with food, drinks, music, and of course clouds of smoke. Most of the players, staff, and veterans rode in classic vehicles or cable cars. A couple of them took to the streets to get a little closer to fans. It will definitely be in my top 5 of memorable experiences. A wonderful end to a great playoffs and World Series.
