I'm saving my shit talking for tonight after they win.
I will be there and expect The Ballpark to explode after they dispatch the Yankees.
I'm looking forward to seeing a ballpark full of disappointment.

Nah. I'm just trying to not get too excited one way or the other. No guarantees of victory or massive depression if they lose. It was hard to not get excited after the ninth inning win, though. That was just a good game all around. Last night, regardless of the loss, just wasn't a very interesting game. Kind of slow and uneventful.

I went into shock and had to lick my wounds. j/k! The whole city was quiet last night. Now that the Yankees are out and Rangers are in, Giants betta win tomorrow. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

not as more gorgeous of seeing your squad out of it b4 the all star break ...as it was said on the radio tonight 27-2 bud
but congrats 2 the rangers they deserved it and it just wasn't our year ..and with the fox network STILL out of my cable ..it just wouldn't be right not being able 2 see my local team in the world series man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

The Rangers completely outplayed the Yankees that whole series and totally deserved the trip to the WS. I hope they win and keep it in the AL.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that the Rangers would be going to the WS???
Nolan Ryan must be giving his pitchers greenies.

Yankees were dominated in this series. The big guns didn't do shit. Where was A-Rod?
Nolan Ryan said he'll do everything he can to keep Cliff Lee. If he's going to outbid the Steinbrenners, get ready to write a phat-ass check.
Hopefully, our football team will take care of business in Texas Monday night. |

Congrats to the Giants..... This is going to be an interesting World Series....I'm going with Cliff Lee and the Rangers in 6.... It would be poetic justice for Lee to win after the Phillies traded him.... |

Oh well, to bad so sad.
I couldn't get into the playoffs this year. Now? GO, San Fran! I'm a diehard National League fan: with the exception of the 2006 World Series, I wanted the Detroit Tigers to beat St. Louis Cardinals. :loll:

NLCS Game 6: SF 3, PHI 2
W: Javier Lopez (1-0, 2.08 ERA)
L: Ryan Madson (0-1, 1.35 ERA)
I thought the Phillies were a lock to go back to the WS for the third year in a row. SF pitching is hot right now. |

Yeah Giants Baybee!! Even when they had the sizeable lead, I was not content until it was over. Glad they had it tho. I don't understand why we, meaning The Giants are treated like underdogs and barely getting props from Fox? "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
