Cliff Lee is ace. The Yankees are sooo fortunate to have had that comeback in game 1 or else they'd be down 0-3. If texas can get to Burnett and pull out the win then the series is theirs. Although, somehow I'm afraid it's going to be one of those "the stars have aligned" moments" and A.j. actually shows up!

Cliff should definitely pitch in New York next year, but not as a Yankee wink

Cliff Lee was the Yankees daddy last night. All Texas needs is one more win, which guarantees Lee pitches in a Game 7.

Since I know fuck-all about baseball, WHEN the Rangers win, who are they most likely to play and what are their chances?

Side note: All those people who keep saying, "Cliff Lee has to lose in the post season eventually." Nah. He really doesn't. lol

Maybe not this year, but given enough opportuities he will. I see him losing a game if his team makes the postseason when he's 40. smile

WHEN they beat the yankees, as much as the met fan in me wants to be in denial about it, they're probably going to end up playing the phillies. It'll be a great series, both teams have great offenses and the first 3 starting pitchers for each so far have been great, although most will probably say the phillies have the best 1 2 3 punch with halladay, oswalt, and hamels. Given what Texas has done, I don't the phillies would be the cleat cut favorite.

chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

Thanks! Good to know they have a chance. I used to follow them years ago when Juan Gonzalez, Pudge Rodriguez, and A-Rod played but they've been such a disappointment year after year. I'm glad ONE of Dallas' sports teams finally got it together. clapping

Maybe. Weird things happen to athletes who run up statistics like that. They start believing that they can't lose, so they don't. Now he'll probably get 25 runs scored on him the next game he pitches just because I said it. lol

That isn't bad at all compared to the ERAs for CC and Hughes in this series. Yankees starters stink in this round.

so has the bullpen, and the offense. Rangers are completely outplaying the Yankees this series and deserve to win the ALCS.

sigh

I've watched a lot of baseball, and when a team is hot...it's tough to beat a team that's red hot.

it's a wrap and with texiera with a hamstring pull ..might as well end it 2day

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

You never know. Detroit seemed unstoppable in 2006 (USA Today predicted they would beat St Louis in the WS in three games lol ) and look what happened there.

I say push the series one more game and end it in Texas. At least give the fans something to cheer about at home. Of course that would suck for the Yanks to fly all the way out there and still lose.

Charlie Manuel should go with Halliday on short notice and try to even this up now

Blanton hasn't pitched in a long time and I wouldn't risk going down 3-1 on him...but hey who am I?

Go Phils!!!!

Where are the Rangers and Giants fans that would post and applaud after each win? One loss and they go into hiding? lol
