They should take out 10-15 games in the season. It shouldn't be so long, especially with the World Series happening near the crack of November.

Yeah I've always felt they play WAY to many regular season games,I'd cut at least 30 regular season games if I was them.

Cutting that many games would take a lot of money out of many teams' pockets. They need the revenue from game tickets sold.

Nearly twice as many games in the MLB season and they play almost every single day. Bud definitely gets slapped first for leaving five days between games in the post season. Plus, there's a real possibility that David Stern will prevent a work stoppage next season in the NBA. If he can pull that off I'll give the dude a hug. lol

which amazes me why the hell on the earth in the post season all games start at the god for saking hour of 8:30 or later ..geez and the whole travel day thing hardly happens in the regular season 2 require a FULL day off but i guess they prepare 4 the fact that a west coast team has 2 fly across country shrug

One travel day because they're (possibly) travelling farther than they would during the regular, fine. Games starting later so they can get several in on one day and get as many prime time viewers across the country as possible, annoying for east coast people, but fine. Four and five days in between games, wth!? That just makes no kind of sense at all.

Also, my personal opinion, they don't need to trim the regular season at all. They just need to play the post season the same was as the do the regular season. When two teams are ready to go, start the series. Same thing with the NBA. The playoffs are now like, six weeks long in the NBA. It's ridiculous.

They need to do something, no way should the World series have to start as late as October 27th and end in November.

only thing i would change out the regular season is the same thing i would change about the nfl season, every team play each other at least one series ...cut that 19 times within a division shit out ..spread out the interleague season throughout the course of the season

I wasn't home for either game, but run total for game two is more what I was expecting. lol I heard game one was actually a pretty good one, though. Glad we got one on their field. That will definitely help (fingers crossed).

I don't usually give a shit about baseball, but I'm actually catching Ranger fever. I went to Saturday's game and it was cool to see all these emotional fans who have followed them for so long, with little success finally get a win. cool

And they are spanking the Yanks 8-0 in NYC, gotta love that. I know I'm being a total fairweather fan, but, Gooooo, Rangers!!! woot!

Cliff Lee is ace. The Yankees are sooo fortunate to have had that comeback in game 1 or else they'd be down 0-3. If texas can get to Burnett and pull out the win then the series is theirs. Although, somehow I'm afraid it's going to be one of those "the stars have aligned" moments" and A.j. actually shows up!

Cliff should definitely pitch in New York next year, but not as a Yankee wink

chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

So do you think you guys are coming back? Still taking the series? The Giants need to win the next one or I'm pretty sure we'll be done.

Side note: All those people who keep saying, "Cliff Lee has to lose in the post season eventually." Nah. He really doesn't. lol
