Robertson, Wood, and Joba can really shorten these games like Stanton, Nelson and Mendoza did in the late 90's. 5-6 innings from the starter, bullpen and then Mariano...it's a recipe that works. Not every night, but damn straight it will in 7 game series.

why not? Phil is a serious stud. He won 18 games this year, and that was with a tired arm the second half. He's going to be a strong pitcher for the Yankees for a lot of years. There's a reason they didn't want to trade him, even for Johan Santana.

To me, every pitcher is a bit of a question mark before making their very first ever postseason start, no matter how good they were during the regular season. Even Roy Halladay.
