R.I.P. Sean John Model “Esco” Found Dead In New Jersey
Sad news for friends and loved ones of Rocawear and Sean John model Jubar “Esco” Croswell. The remains of the 30-year-old model and actor were identified yesterday, however his cause of death remains a mystery.
A man walking near the Oakwood Plaza shopping center in Edison found the body of Jubar (Esco) Croswell, 30, off a leafy street last Thursday about 2:15p.m., Middlesex County prosecutors said.
Croswell, who lived in Fort Greene, was wearing a Louis Vuitton belt and Jet Lag cargo pants when he was discovered. It was not immediately clear how long he had been dead when he was found.
NYPD sources said Croswell was reported missing on Sept. 17, four days after he was last seen.
The cause of death is still being investigated by local authorities
So sad.
We dug up a few photos of Esco to share with you. Check him out with Jessica White and Omahyra:

That's sad but was it necessary to name drop design labels when they described what he had on.

I'm thinking that information came about probaly because a missing person report was filed on the 17th of Sept and if he has been dead since then i'm sure they probaly wasnt able to look at him and see that he was infact the dude that was reported missing |

It's just sad that your life is only marked by the clothes on your back when your famous or in that industry. He probably had so much more about him that was relevant especially to his loved ones. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! |

They never bring that up. He was just a model according to the media. Of course they're not gonna focus on who he was at a person. The news seldomly does that when it comes to people like that. That's one of the reasons I can't stand it in the first place. |

I'm sure his sense of style would be something to be remembered though. |

It's the life he chose. It's the image he portrayed. He wasn't known as a human being except to his family. Why would that change?
I know it sounds callous but he was in the public eye as an image not a person. What other way is the public supposed to, or going to remember him? [Edited 10/6/10 22:52pm] I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

It's nice to know that when a model dies they'll be more concerned with if they're wearing this years designs. You shouldn't be caught dead in some off the rack gear!!!
That's all fashion designers are to them. You actually think they would care about a human being? Come on, it's the modeling industry, of course they're subjected as just objects. |

Actually, the fact that he was wearing designer duds potentially rules out that he was robbed. If he had money or credit cards on him then that seals it. He was murdered for something else. Probably was gonna snitch on somebody. It says his body was found off a leafy street. Perhaps he had been recently dumped there....like thrown out of a car or something. Is the Oakwood Plaza near a ghetto? Maybe he got dumped there because the perpetrators knew cops wouldn't be cruising the ghetto. Passerbys may have mistook him for a sleeping bum.
Pardon my amature CSI-ishness.
Anyway...it's sad. Poor fella. He sure was cute. 30 is too young to die. |

Plus he was reported missing after nobody heard from him for 4 days. That also tells me that even though he was a man about town, he kept in touch with his peeps. Probably not his character to go more than 2 days without calling somebody up. September 17th to the 29th is 12 days. He was missing for a total of 12 to 16 days. I bet he was last with somebody he thought he could trust. Mark my words....this 'bout to get real shady. there will be the official report which will tell us nothing and the unofficial report where errbody and they daddy gonna get blamed. Alright Ima quit. |
