So when is the movie coming out? I would love to see it. I knew the woman who wrote the book before she changed her name. We double dated waaaaay back when we were both young. I haven't seen her since, but am happy that she is getting renewed interest in her work.

I didn't recognize Janet Jackson in the picture. She looks really mature there. Whoppi is my girl and I am looking forward to her performance.

I have not heard about this movie but if Whoopi is in it, plus Phylicia and Janet, I'm sold.

It is a very impressive ensemble though I already know that Phylicia is gonna rise up to the occasion, even if the project turns out to be a total disaster.

Nice. But I had plans on seeing it anyway. It'll be interesting to see how much he has grown in his film making.

Let's hope Tyler Perry doesn't make this powerful book a steaming hot pile of SHIT like everything else he makes.

Oh lawd, I had no idea Tyler was behind this. I agree, WDIGM 2 was a disappointment to say the least. The first one was much better. Oh well, we shall see.

That's because Ms. Rashad can ACT, that's more than I can say for Ms. Jackson. Jackson could act her way out of a paper bag if it was dripping wet; her voice gets on my damn nerves. I 'll wait to it comes on cable just because of that.
