From the beginning of the video I can't tell who instigated this, so I have no clue what she asked for or not. Still, it's kinda jacked up somebody would tape and upload this. I think youtube vids can be helpful in assisting criminal cases, for example, but sometimes it is disheartening to see what upload online just for kicks. neutral

And PS for anyone who would even consider that a girl "asked" to not only be punched, but to be punched so hard, she is knocked out should be strung up by their ass hairs.

YOU NEVER HIT A WOMAN. PERIOD. I don't have a shit if she's screaming her head off at you in public, or has thrown your fucking beloved Playstation 3 out in the rain. YOU NEVER HIT A WOMAN. EVER. All the men in that video are fucking wastes of skin and blood. They stood around, video taped a woman who was laid out on the street, no one called the police, or an ambulance. No one helped the woman. One girl walked up, looked at her, and walked away.

Every one of those people should be prosecuted. Every. Single. One.

All that doesn't excuse the girl causing a public display of crazy, but YOU NEVER HIT A WOMAN. EVER. You just don't put your fucking hands on people like that. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fucking moron.

While I'm ranting - it's "who's", not "whose", as in "WHO IS". And "Stupider" isn't a word. You don't had -er to a word that ends in -id. You wouldn't say "liquider" or "lucider". You'd say "more lucid", etc. "Dumber" sure, but "stupider" = STUPID.

I did say that "you don't put your hands on people like that", which was a more general way of saying "you never hit people". I don't believe it's ever right to punch someone. Doesn't mean we don't want to sometimes, but we grovel at the feet of the lowest of the dregs of society when we take it down to that level. Walking away, or handling it different, doesn't make anyone less of a man, or a human being - it makes them a lot better, at least in that moment. I understand defending yourself against a dreg like that, but don't fucking instigate and start it with the first punch.

I totally agree, ernest.

I think my point is: To say "never hit a woman" (...simply, somehow, because she is a woman [Not an extension you made, but it seems to be the popular logic.]) is not only a sort of social non sequitur, but intrinsically sexist on at least a couple levels. I think the "never hit a woman" thing should be standard... but to the extent it is observed, it should be subsumed in a broader and equally absolute "never hit a person."

And that's my point. There's no way of telling if her hitting him was the direct cause of his hitting her. (He seems the type that may have done it anyway.) But in my mind, it was the thing that most immediately precipitated it. If they both dispensed with the hitting, well... no one would have gotten hit. shrug

Im happy that you released your tension by coreecting the english in the phrase- like we all didn't know that is wasn't correct. At least we know you would never hit a woman- you'd stand or walk away as she hit, kicked, and pulled your hair out.

Being a woman- no I would never elude to being beat as a means of release- but I cant say that if I was beating up my man or beating on my man for whatever reason other than self-defense that I would expect him to at some point hit , hold, or whatever back.

My post was an instant reaction and question after watching this- not a full out campaign about physical abuse...You wouldn't "hit" me but you would string me up by my ass hairs for asking? okee dokee stupider=stupid....

going by where thevideo starts off anyway.

whenever there's a fight/argument, and you decide NOT to walk away from it or be the bigger person; whatever happens after that is something every person involved is responsible for. it seemed to me that the guy was walking away from her and she kept after him. but again, who knows what happened before the footage. and by the language and attitudes in the video, mix in people with no education or social skills, and the outcome is not so surprising.

so i don't think it's a matter of who deserved it. no one deserves to get burned by a fire, but if you're sitting there adding fuel to it, well, i think you can figure out the rest.

when will people ever learn? sadpray

One lady is clearly saying "ms. ms. thats enough....no that's because she keeps jumpin on him" and the guy says "he done knocked this bitch out bout three times". And when the other lady opened the door and tried to bring her inside she refused she said "get off of me ".

For some reason she was mad enough to think she could beat him up.... self defense or abuse on his part?

If you have your own agenda here, which you clearly do, then there's really no way for anyone to have a civil conversation with you. Perhaps your brain is altered in some fashion, either by internal and/or external chemicals - creating a highly unstable imbalance, that precludes logic and reason in your stream of thought and exchange.

Your twisting of my words is typical when you have no defense. You went off over an English correction (and a fucking valid one, but yet like most people akin to yourself seemed to have skipped when another Orger agreed with me on that correction - fickle much?), then attacked what I said about hitting women.

Perhaps you, madam, feel you deserve a slap or a punch - but any woman worth her salt and weight in self-esteem would never feel that way. EVER. That, alone, speaks volumes about you. And that is why you've tragically lost the conversation. As a footnote on that: If you feel some empowerment, or entitlement, to putting your overly manicured hooves on someone without provocation, there are deeper issues than someone slapping you back. Think about it.

When you come back to earth, level out, and get out of your "angry woman" mode, we can talk. Maybe. Until then...buh-bye.

again. regardless of what is being said on the video, we don't know what happened before the footage started. both cases are possibilities.

A) Just keep walkin'. No matter how long it takes. Just keep walkin'. I knew some crazy tough women at one time and still saw them get dropped by a man with one punch. Just like in this video. Never a reason punch a woman. If he didn't have the inner strength to just keep walkin' I have no problem with him grabbin' her wrists and to make it clear that mess needs to stop. Dude is more than big enough to do that. But keep walkin' after that. Never a left to the jaw. Not down for punching women, ever, under any circumstances.

B) Advise to the sane and not legally challenged; just call the cops. lol There was witnessed everywhere.

C) "Yo she leakin', put her down" "She leakin'?" is still funny. lol Not that she got hit or "is leakin'", just the way they said it.

D) Men fighting is situational, but at this point in my life I tend to believe it should be restricted to self-defense.
